Before discovering the world of stunts, James was training in acting at the Birmingham Theatre School. His first role was a character called 'Bananaman' and this saw him touring the UK for the next three years.
Throughout his career he has continued acting and is often called upon when a stunt role requires a convincing performance or dialogue.
